OUR WOMEN'S HEALTH SERVICES
Cervical Screening Tests
As part of our Women's Health Cranbourne East services, the Cervical Screening Test (CST) is the recommended screening test for cervical cancer in Australia. It detects high-risk types of Human Papillomavirus (HPV) that may lead to cervical cancer, helping identify changes early. For most women, cervical screening is recommended every five years. The test is performed during a gentle speculum examination, and if appropriate, swabs for common STIs can also be collected during the same appointment.
Recommended:
Routine cervical screening as advised by your healthcare provider.
Breast Health Assessments
Breast health is an essential part of our Women's Health Cranbourne East services. We encourage women aged 50 to 74 years to have a free screening mammogram every two years through BreastScreen Victoria. Regular breast self-awareness is equally important. If you notice a lump, breast pain, nipple discharge, skin changes or any other unusual breast changes, our experienced GPs can provide a thorough assessment and arrange appropriate follow-up care if needed.
Recommended:
Regular breast health checks based on age, family history, and individual risk factors.
Contraception & Family Planning
Our Women's Health Cranbourne East services include personalised contraception advice to help you choose the option that best suits your lifestyle and health needs. We offer a range of contraceptive methods, including oral contraceptive pills, vaginal rings, injections and contraceptive implants. If you require Implanon insertion or removal, please let our reception team know when booking your appointment, as a longer consultation may be required. Additional procedure fees may apply.
Recommended:
Routine cervical screening as advised by your healthcare provider.
Sexual & Reproductive Health
Confidential sexual health checks are an important part of our Women's Health Cranbourne East services. Our experienced GPs provide STI testing, sexual health advice and personalised care in a respectful, supportive environment. We offer appropriate assessment, treatment and ongoing support to help protect your sexual and reproductive wellbeing.
Recommended:
Regular reviews to maintain reproductive health and wellbeing.
General Women’s Health Checks
Supporting Lifelong Health & Wellbeing

Our experienced GPs provide comprehensive assessments tailored to your age, lifestyle, medical history and individual health needs, supporting your long-term health and wellbeing through personalised preventive care.
Health Assessments May Include:
- Height, weight, blood pressure and pulse measurements
- Blood tests to assess cholesterol, diabetes, liver and kidney health
- Vision and hearing assessments
- Lung function assessment (where appropriate)
- Skin examination
- Lifestyle review, including mental wellbeing and family medical history
- Resting ECG (when clinically indicated)
Eligible patients, including those aged 45–49 years and 70 years and over, may be able to access a Medicare-funded (bulk billed) Prolonged Health Assessment. As these appointments require additional time, please let our reception team know when booking so a longer consultation can be arranged.
